Courtney Carney, MSW, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
About Courtney Carney
Hi, I’m Courtney. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in working with kids and young adults who are navigating some of the most overwhelming and formative seasons of life.
Adolescence and early adulthood can feel intense emotionally, socially, academically, occupationally, and within families. Whether it’s anxiety that won’t quiet down, relationship stress, depression, trauma, or feeling stuck in patterns that don’t make sense, I help you slow things down, understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and build skills that actually work in real life.
I also value working with couples and families to help improve communication, reduce conflict, and strengthen connections at home. I embrace approaches like the Gottman Method that help empower you with proven strategies that can be applied right away. My goal is to help you not just “get through” difficult seasons, but develop insight, resilience, and confidence that carries with you long after therapy ends.
My style is warm, direct, and collaborative. I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can exhale, where you don’t have to perform, impress, or have it all figured out. I work to create a relationship built on trust, authenticity, and respect, while also gently challenging you toward growth.
